The 2006-P 1oz Silver American Eagle Reverse Proof Coin was struck by the United States Mint at Philadelphia and carries the P mint mark. It was issued only in the American Eagle 20th Anniversary three-coin Silver Coin Set and has a reported final mintage of 248,875. Its reverse-proof treatment uses frosted fields with polished, mirror-like raised elements. The coin contains one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features walking liberty with the rising sun, adapted from adolph a. weinman, and the reverse depicts heraldic eagle with shield, olive branch and arrows beneath thirteen stars. The inaugural reverse-proof Silver Eagle was paired with 2006-W proof and uncirculated coins.
