The 2015 1oz Silver Maple Leaf Bullion Coin was issued by the Royal Canadian Mint as part of Canada’s flagship silver bullion series. Struck from one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver, it combines a high-purity silver specification with the classic maple leaf reverse designed by Walter Ott.
The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II using the Susanna Blunt effigy, while the reverse carries the national maple leaf emblem with the weight and purity inscriptions around the design. This date uses the radial-line finish and micro-engraved maple leaf security mark introduced in the modern anti-counterfeiting era.
The 2015 issue continued the new radial-line security format and is the first Silver Maple Leaf date covered by the Royal Canadian Mint’s Bullion DNA authentication programme.
