The 2023 2oz Silver Great Engravers Proof Coin — Petition Crown Quartered Arms is one of the two official silver coins issued to honour Thomas Simon's famous 1663 Petition Crown. This coin presents the quartered-arms side of the original design, with the celebrated raised edge petition lettering recreated around the coin. Struck in 999 fine silver to proof quality with Martin Jennings' portrait of King Charles III and a maximum mintage of 3,260, it is stored separately from the companion Charles II Effigy coin.
