Description

The 2008 1oz Silver Britannia Bullion Coin was struck by The Royal Mint in .958 Britannia silver, the traditional fineness used for early silver Britannia issues. These pre-2013 coins form the first major era of the bullion series and are increasingly collected as a distinct group. The reverse features Britannia, a long-standing emblem of Britain, while the obverse carries Queen Elizabeth II's portrait for the period.
